New Delhi, July 3 (IANS) Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav is scheduled to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi around Friday noon and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh later in the day and is expected to offer his party's support to the embattled government, Congress soures said Thursday.

According to the sources, Yadav will not be part of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government but will extend his party's outside support.

Yadav's move would provide lifeline to the government with the Left parties readying to withdraw their support following their differences over the nulear deal.
