London, Nov 23 (IANS) British singer Leona Lewis has met fashion designer Stella McCartney to discuss the launch of an animal friendly fashion range.
Lewis recently met Stella - the designer daughter of Sir Paul McCartney - who shares similar views with Lewis on the use of animal products in fashion. With her, Lewis discussed the possibility of launching her own branded products, reports contactmusic.com.
'I am on a mission. I would love to promote a line of non-leather bags and shoes that are affordable,' Lewis said.
'There is so much I want to do. I have always wanted to have my own fashion line and that is something I want to focus on next year,' she said.
Leona, 24, doesn't wear suede, leather or other animal products just like Stella, who has been a long-time vegetarian.
