New Delhi, Mar 31 (ANI): President Pratibha Devsingh Patil and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh greeted the nation ahead of the festival of Ram Navami on Saturday.

In her message to the nation, President Patil said: On the festive occasion of Ram Navami, I offer my greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens. May this festival inspire all of us to serve humanity with dedication and devotion.

Greeting the people on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that the festival is a celebration of Lord Ram's belief and adherence to morality and righteousness amidst all difficulties.

He said it is an occasion to rededicate ourselves to a life of commitment and compassion.

May this Ram Navami strengthen our resolve to lead a principled life, and bring joy and happiness to all, said Dr. Singh. (ANI)
