Jailed boxer Floyd Mayweather 'world's highest paid athlete' in Forbes' 2012 money list

Washington, June 16 (ANI): Jailed boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
has topped Forbes' 2012 money list as the world's highest paid athlete.
According to CBS News, Mayweather, who made 85 million dollars from two fights last year, is currently serving a three-month jail sentence in Las Vegas for domestic battery.
Boxer Manny Pacquiao took the second place on the magazine's list at 62 million dollars from earnings and endorsements. Pacquiao lost his WBO welterweight title to Timothy Bradley earlier this month.
Tiger Woods, No. 1 on the list since 2001, made 59.4 million dollars to be placed third, followed by LeBron James of the Miami Heat at fourth on 53 million dollars and tennis star Roger Federer at fifth on 52.7 million dollars. (ANI)
