Washington, June 29 (ANI): Olivia Wilde has combined her love of fashion with her passion for Haiti, by designing a new messenger bag to benefit the nation's recovery efforts.

The House MD star, who frequented the country with her journalist parents as a child, was among the first celebrity aid volunteer to travel to the earthquake-ravaged Haiti in the wake of the 2010 natural disaster.

The 28-year-old, who co-founded charity organisation 'Campaign Happiness' in a bid to help locals rebuild, has now teamed up with bosses at eco-friendly fashion firm 'Alternative Apparel' to create a trendy satchel, Contactmusic reported.

The initiative is to raise money for Port-au-Prince school Artists for Peace and Justice.

I've been trying to figure out how to combine conscious commerce with my love for fashion. I wear their sweatshirts every day and live in their maxi dresses. And they're (the owners are) good people, she told Vogue magazine. (ANI)
