New York, August 8 (ANI): Gwen Stefani, who has graced the cover oh Harper's Bazaar, has revealed that she's 'always been a girl who loves to dress up'.

When she's not rocking out onstage with her band, the 42-year-old 'No Doubt' frontwoman enjoys forgoing pants and belly shirts for a more glam look.

I've always been a girl who loves to dress up, the New York Daily news quoted her as telling the September issue of Harper's Bazaar.

I already put my makeup on twice today: I put it on to take my kid to school, and then I went home, washed my face, and put it on again to have lunch with you, she said.

However, unlike many people who prefer to go makeup-free when they're in the comfort of their own home, Stefani says she prefers to keep it on in the presence of her musician husband Gavin Rossdale.

I like to make my husband like me more, she said.
