New Delhi/Gurgaon, Aug.20 (ANI): In the wake of no key leads emerging in the suicide case of former MDLR air hostess Geetika Sharma, Delhi Police may opt to conduct a brain mapping on key accused Gopal Goyal Kanda.

Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police P Karunakaran said that the test could be a possibility if there was a need.

We will do all that is needed. We are still investigating and the media would be kept informed, said Karunakaran.

A team of five officers from the Delhi Police on Sunday began questioning Kanda.

The officers were keen to retrieve data from the office of MDLR airlines owned by Kanda.

Reportedly, they are also in search of three hard disks, which could be used as vital clues in the case but are said to be missing.

Earlier in the day, police officials after questioning Kanda about his whereabouts in the past 10 days, took him to the office of now defunct MDLR Airlines at Gurgaon.

A court in Delhi remanded Kanda to a week's police custody on Saturday for his alleged role in the suicide of Geetika Sharma.(ANI)
