London, Aug 28 (ANI): Domino enthusiasts from Germany demolished 125,000 little bricks - setting three Guinness World Records.
The Sinners Domino Production company spent weeks assembling by hand their record-breaking bid, before demolishing the lot in just seven minutes at a gym in Budingen, West Germany, the Daily Mail reported.
In the process they toppled 127,141 bricks - smashing the previous world record of 49,614 toppled dominoes - as well as destroying the largest domino wall ever built, and the largest 3D pyramid ever built.
The theme of the destruction was 'Falling into past - a journey around the world,' with the dominos first of all cascading through the group's logo and the Yin and Yang symbol, with these alone consisting of 10,000 bricks.
A minute into the attempt, the chain of tilting bricks knocked into the longest domino wall ever built - with this giant wall consisting of 31,405 bricks.
Measuring 98 feet in length, it took two minutes for the entire wall to come down. But even then the show is not over, as the trail led next to the world' biggest domino pyramid.
This 49,614-brick creation also vanished in the space of 30 seconds - instantly dismantling the hard work of a dozen builders, who had very carefully construction the pyramid right up until minutes before the countdown.
After that, the dominoes destroyed the stock market, harking back to the Wall Street Crash of 1929, before showing the Berlin Wall fall, and London's Tower Bridge, with blue tiles symbolising the River Thames moving back and forth. (ANI)
