(ANI): The increased security risks feared after the withdrawal of the US led NATO forces next year have forced the Indian consortium of six companies to consider slashing the proposed USD 11 billion investments for mining iron ore in Afghanistan. It is the largest investment proposal in Afghanistan so far. It proposes to harness the Afghan mineral resources estimated at over I trillion dollars according to the US Geological Survey.

Washington, Nov. 20 (ANI): Yahoo has reportedly increased its share repurchase authorization by 5 billion dollars and has planned to offer 1 billion dollars in convertible notes.

Sydney, Nov. 19 (ANI): Google has agreed to pay 17 million dollars to 37 states and the District of Columbia for violating consumer privacy by placing unauthorized cookies on computers using certain Apple Safari web browsers in 2011 and 2012.

Washington, Nov. 18 (ANI): Apple is reportedly in talks with 3D sensing company PrimeSense, based in Tel Aviv; however, the details of the deal aren't disclosed yet.
Israeli publication Calcalist estimated the deal between the tech giant and PrimeSense at 345 million dollars.

Washington, Nov. 17 (ANI): China has bet India and become world's top gold consumer.
China has purchased 798 tonnes of the precious metal so far this year, compared to 715 tonnes that India bought, the latest World Gold Council report has revealed.
According to CNN, the group recently lowered its 2013 forecast for India's gold consumption by 10 percent to 900 tonnes.

Washington, Nov. 16 (ANI): Twitter began its options trading on the stock on Friday which saw heavy volume on the first day itself.
The microblogging site went public last week with an opening price of 45.10 dollars each stock after and IPO of 26 dollars.
