Washington, Feb. 14 (ANI): Smartwatch shipments across the globe have reportedly reached 1.9 million units with Goggle's OS recording 61 percent market share.
Neil Mawston, executive director at Strategy Analytics said that the smartwatch market was beginning to take shape and compared the present figures with 2012's when only a few hundred thousand units were shipped.

London, Feb. 14 (ANI): Chinese PC maker Lenovo has recently posted its third-quarter profit and sales report, which has been higher-than-expected.

Tokyo, Feb. 14 (ANI): Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) has detected a record 54,000 becquerels of radioactive cesium per litre in groundwater.
The water was collected on Wednesday from an observation well east of the reactor 2 turbine at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant.
According to the Japan Times, the radioactive cesium level far exceeded the previous record of 22,000 becquerels detected in groundwater taken from a separate observation well in July 2013.(ANI)

Washington, Feb. 13 (ANI): Apple has reportedly surpassed Android, recording maximum business activations, according to a research compiled by Good Technology signals.

Washington, Feb. 13 (ANI): Smartphone shipments hit one-billion mark in 2013 with rise in its unabated demand.
In 2012, total shipments were 725 million phones, so last year saw an additional 275 million smartphones sold-a jump of 39 percent over 2012.
According to PC World, IDC estimated that 79 percent of smartphones shipped in 2013 were running Android.

London, Feb. 13 (ANI): China's trade surplus jumped to 31.9 billion dollars in January.
The move has eased concerns that the world's second-largest economy may be stuck in a slowdown.
The figure was up 14 percent from a year and stronger than forecasts for a 23.7 billion dollars surplus, the BBC reports.
According to the report, imports rose by 10 percent from a year earlier to 175.27 billion dollars - led by record shipments of crude oil, iron ore and copper.

Washington, Feb. 13 (ANI): The television market in the United States saw a nine-percent loss in unit sales in 2013 due to low demand.
The report from IHS said that the low demand was due to a market where consumers have little interest in buying new TVs after upgrading to high-definition, flat screen models less than 10 years ago.
